I had a **** branch get stuck up underneath my MF1030 with hydro as I was bush-hogging out some undergrowth. Noticed a large stream of liquid shooting out the right side about 40 feet out and thought that somehow I had punctured one of the liquid filled rear tires? But alas it was hydraulic fluid.... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif from where the branch had sheared off the high pressure pump line going into the hydro unit. The new hydraulic line took about two weeks and $135 but was a simple bolt on.

The amazing thing is that previously that line had been crushed with a permanent kink in it by a previous limb, and suddenly with the new hydraulic line installed I instantly gained back 25% of power which I had been missing for years! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hey Henro,
That's a neat trick! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I wonder why tractors don't come with skid plates? Even SUV's come with skid plates, and most of them just go get groceries! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

sticks a pokin' - everytime backing up ... even once after the skid plate .... power steering hoses, clutch linkage, water hose, & wiring ... If I had gotten a TN55 or 65 like I slightly considered - I'm sure we could add fuel tank to the list. The skid plate certainly has reduced the length of the list though.
