John Deere 3320
Well today is the day JD gave for the delivery of the 3320 (ordered middle of May) but I have not heard from my dealer yet. The implements are in and hopefully the tractor should be coming soon.

Things are piling up, wood to split, trees to move and woods to clear. Watch, it will come in and rain for month, all the guys with cabs will be giving me the ,"I told you so"!

Why would just the cab guys say I told you so? Come on, let it go.

I have a ship date from deere of August 16 for my 4520. My dealer said his have been coming in a week prior, but he has had an odd one that goes late. I hope mine is not the odd one. The nice part is he let me keep my 3720 until the new one comes in!

It's a joke! Geeze!

Different models seem to have different times for delivery. I'm not sure it's the odd one, it might be the model that takes longer. A 2320 might get here in 3 weeks while a 4720 might take 10 or more.

Just drove by the dealer after dinner and it's in. BH is on, a few things to add to it, seat, bucket, thumb, etc. Loader has to go on and so does extended exhaust.

Was concerned the 485 hoe would over power it but the size looks about right to me.

It's neat, went back and forth with tires and it came with the big R4's but now that I see them I'm glad that's what I got.

Should be here in a day or two, pics to follow.

Congrats! I was upset that I had to wait 3 days when I bought mine! You are very patient. Let's see those pics!

 uh oh... He has R1's......

In all seriousness.. not really but... I serched Google for an image of a john deere tractor working in the rain without a cab... Nothing. I did not look overly hard, but the first three pages had nothing. So........ Read into that as you may..

As far as working in the rain...doubt many farmers work when those fields are wet.
What you could try is searching YouTube for "tractor snowplowing" or "tractor snowblowing". There's more on there then you would expect. Pretty good mix of open station and cabbed machines. Most of the road clearing machines did have cabs. I'm going to estimate a 50:50 mix (open station:cab) for the residential/farm machines.
There's one Kubota vid I recognize from TBN, BTW...

Rob, we're looking forward to pictures when that 3320 is delivered!
