When buy a used tractor how do you know if it has been stolen or not? Is they away that they keep up with this?

It if were stolen, and if the owner reported it stolen, and if the owner had a serial number, then it should be listed in the NCIC (National Crime Information Center) so that any police officer could run the serial number to see whether it was reported stolen or not.

Always make sure you get a signed receipt from the seller detailing the serial#, hour meter reading and purchase price. Make sure you know who you are dealing with.
