Harv - Great Pic - Great Place.

I think most of us get caught up in work, and making improvements on our places. I can be riding along bush hogging a field and think "how long is this gonna take" and wanting to hurry up to finish.

Long about then I do the same as you did. Stop and smell the roses. It's all beautiful around us. We just need to let the worries of the day and job at hand slip away for awhile & take notice.
Thanks for a great post. Next time out I'll have my radar on. It would be great if we could all get up there for a little grog. Course the Bass may never return if that happened!!

Harv, just saw the pic of your place in Sutter Creek. That pond scene says it all. Must be tough coming back to Walnut Creek from that place. I had the same withdrawl pangs when coming back to Alamo from Mendo. Sold Alamo and now in Mendo full time.

I used to make it to Mendocino in my younger abalone-diving days. Also went with my wife a few times to attend a bio-dynamics farming meeting. Ironically, that was her gig back then -- I was totally into hi-tech at the time.

That's a beautiful area, with sea coast and farmland. Hope you can share a picture or two with us pretty soon.
