Jerry I believe Liquid Glass is an automotive polish. I have used it as well.liquid glass

Your right, but it did have liquid glass in the name. It is made by CarGo and is called Liquid Glass Metallic - Seal-Up. It sounds just like what was posted above in that you have to add it exactly the way that is says or else. I have never used it but different people that I know have said that it works.

You may mean "Water glass"......AKA...Sodium Silicate Works on small cracks in blocks & heads too.............This was/is another old timers remedy.
Sodium silicate can be used in older automobiles to seal leaks in the cooling system. A jar of "liquid glass" is poured into the radiator and allowed to circulate. Minute holes and gaps are sealed, often curing radiator leaks and faulty cylinder-head gaskets. This approach is often used by disreptuable used-car salespersons. automotive repair (see middle of article)
