Stopping a snowmobile without injury

That works moderately well stopping dirt bikes and 4 wheelers too. I've also found that putting up DANGER FIRING RANGE signs and actually shooting every so often keeps them out very well. Funny how it doesn't seem to matter what their native language is.

If you do not want to waste ammo you can get hold of one of these: Sutton Ag - Zon Propane Cannon

Does anybody know if chicken wire will stop a snowmobile if it gets caught up in the tracks. Just looking to detain them till i can call the sheriff. Also heard if you lay white nylon rope in the snow it gets tangled in the tracks kinda like chaps do when your chainsawing, Any suggestions will kindly be appreciated, yeah I have already thought of the other stuff, bullets are too expensive.

Keep contributing to global warming.

I used to be a snowmobiler and now a property owner. I don't mind them as much as the atv's and dirtbikes. Spruce trees dropped over trails stops the lazy ones. Fences stop roughly the same ones. The only way I've found that works half decent and is hard for them to remove it pushing up brushpiles/limbs into the trail and the woods around so they can't drive around.

If the brush pile is about 10 ft tall and a good mix of sizes packed in it is very hard for them to drive over or remove. They often have chainsaws with them so a single tree doesn't take long to remove but the brush is a pain in the arse for them to deal with.

When we rode we tried to stay on logging roads and public land or get permission when needed to cross property. Lucky 100+ miles of river in front of our place which is open to public.

I've never seen teenagers on sleds, carrying chainsaws.

We always carried one on the sleds. I had a collapsing swede saw and axe on my sled. Every snowstorm you had to clear new trees off trails.

I've never seen teenagers on sleds, carrying chainsaws.

I imagine nation wide 99.9% of snowmobilers just ride snowmobiles- without a chainsaw, but on TBN 2 posts say they do, and 0 don't. If I didn't know better, I'd think every teenager I see tooling around on his sled had a saw up his sleeve.
