Does anyone have any experience storing their rear finish mowers vertically?

I have seen several ads for stands or brackets that replace the rear wheel assemblies and allow the mower to be stored in a vertical position. Some even have casters for moving the mower around easily.

Sure would take up a lot less floor space, but am unsure as to effect on seals that may dry out or gear oil running out the expansion port.

Any thoughts on this concept????

GOOD question! never thought about it, but not sure it would do any harm.althogh storing it on the rear wheels would take the oil in the gerabox away from the seal, not sure if a few months of storage like that would do any harm. if u do decide to store it that way no matter what type of stand u use make sure to chain it so it can't fall and hurt someone.
