Storing tractor with loader in upright position

Currently I store my B2320 in the back of my garage parked sideways perpendicular to how the cars park in the garage. It can take a bit of fiddling to get the tractor parked safely in the garage. I have come close to hitting things a few times on the way in. I would like to store my tractor the other direction, parallel to how that cars park. Doing this would require me to put the loader in the upright position. Does anyone have any good ideas on how secure the loader in the upright position rather than relying on the tractor痴 hydraulic control valve and loader痴 hydraulic cylinders?

How about those jacks for vehicles up on the lift.

You'll need to make a bracket that fits over the cylinder when it extended like what is used on full-sized machines top block the loaders up. A piece of angle iron cut to the right length would work fine, you could zip-tie it on or use Velcro straps to hold it onto the cylinders rod.

What they said

Raise it up measure from cylinder to the end of the rod cur a piece of 1 1/2 steel pipe that length minus 1"
Then slice a section lengthwise a little bigger than rod diameter
Put a thin piece of rubber over rod then put pipe over rubber.
Lower bucket gently on pipe so it pinches at rod end and against the cylinder end.

Less cutting, use a piece of angle iron cut the right length. Raise the loader, shut the tractor down, hold angle iron up against the rod and reach back and bleed the pressure off with the joystick. For added safety, put the angle iron on the top of the cylinder.
