I believe the DD box is power up and down. Sound and speed seem the same empty or light loads in both directions.

Yes sir
Things I have learned
Blue (Low temp) hydraulic fluid.
Moves plenty fast for me, not quite loader speed ;)
4 grease points under the box.
The safety bar will need some adjustment, not confidence inspiring.
Tail gate is super heavy and thick. Can open from top, bottom or removed using spring loaded quarter turn pins. Very nice.
Chains to control and set tailgate, works well.
Bed up switch and warning light is now working but we'll see, stock items look cheesy and I may change the switch to something with more range of action.
Bed is very heavy and will not give when your head hits it.

Ouch, looking forward to getting something similar. Probably said it awhile back but has anyone priced or bought a one ton dump truck recently let alone a decent one? Or a decently built tandem dump trailer? When all is said and done I'm going to name my truck like I did my 1st and only 1 ton dump truck "dumper do 2" lol

I found the straight plow was harder to drive on the highway because of speed and wind. Counter steering took a lot of attention. Not so with the V, but the V was heavier and this affected ride heights. I'd prioritize the one easiest to dismount and re-mount. I always wound up crawling around just as a record snowfall would start !

For the price I'm getting this barely used boss v plow for I'll gladly mess around in a blizzard getting hooked up. Even if it's a pia. Initially anyway, it is newer so I don't expect hookup to be any harder than my dad's much older plow was. Plus I'll ecstatically say again no more using atvs to plow. I enjoy being outside doing things in the winter but once or twice doing the same thing outdoors especially riding on a atv is my newer limit.

Initial plow assessment is plows is like new, but is definitely heavier than what I wanted my new soon to be purchased boss ss v plow is going to need a bolt on frame mounting assembly for a 2016:3/4 ton it was currently set up for an older what I consider basket case 3/4 ton Duramax that doesn't run. I definitely don't trust my 7018 welding skills enough to weld and fabricate an older plow frame to fit my truck frame. So an extra 700,+ dollars for the bolt on frame mount. Still way ahead imo.
