Thought I might as well throw the rest of it in also. I did this late last fall before I put the plow on the tractor last winter. When I got it one side of the A-frame was straight like it should be and the other side had an elbow bend in it. The result was that one corner of the blade was 7" off the ground when the other side was scraping on the ground. Here is the bend side. I made 4 pads like the one clamped on there and used those to level the holes.

You can see the angle here. 1-3/4" over 22" spread over the plow width made a 7"cant.

Using two pads on each side I lowered the left mounting hole 7/8" and raised the right side 7/8" to get level and perpendicular to the main plow pivot pin you can just see sticking up in the back.

It was a free plow but it's a good thing my time isn't worth anything and I enjoy puttering around with stuff like this.
