Strange Baler on Ebay

They made those for awhile and they didn't take off. They were broken down more often than they worked. They are a nice little novelty but I sure wouldn't want to count on one to make hay with.

Richard:

My NH dealer has one out back in the yard. That is, if he didn't sell it for scrap.

I see it's up to $3500.00. I hope it's a "no bid". The seller isn't going to be very happy. I have a nice old 65 hayliner I will sell for 1K. Knotters are tight and it never misses. You could go "Amish" with it with a pony motor and forecart for a lot less and have a reliable implement.

Haven't seen one in person, but have seen & read about them.

They were ahead of their time. They should have had a cab & air conditioning. If you are ever around a baler, look where all the worst dust & dirt hovers. Yup, _right_ where the operator is sitting. They lost popularity real quick......

My brother has an old 65 too. It has a Wisconsin Robin on it. Doesn't get a heck of allot of use anymore, but it still works great! i wish I had $1 for every bale that ol' thing has spit out! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
