As 1 data point, this 2003 DK35 was completely serviced by the dealer every year. So either that means the wheel lugs can get loose over a short amount of time (< 50 hrs) or there is something less than optimal with the Kioti wheel lug design.

Are you sure the dealer ever checks the wheel lugs ?
I have over 900 hours on my DK 35 and have Never had a wheel lug come loose.
Actually I have never had a loose bolt on the tractor.. Period.

I bought the DK35 late last fall. I had a something over 350 hrs on it. The previous owner was a contractor who claimed and I verifed, that the local dealer did all the scheduled service work. The best I can tell is the dealer does good work and overall I am very satisfied with the tractor so far. It is good to know the source of the Click and Pops was apparently so easy to fix. To be honest, I have not had the opportunity to test out, but I am convinced the loose lugs were the source of the sounds. The solution to keep it from being a problem in the future is pretty easy too. I do have a question about the use of lock-tite, would it be appropriate for this application???
