I had it in 4WD, so unless more than one tire had the rim spinning inside it.....

They delivered back Friday, and it was foul weather then, Saturday, and Sunday-all I did was move it from where they had left it in my drive into the garage, where it's sitting still. With the weather and work, I probably won't get to use it again until this weekend. I finished all the plowing before they took it to check it out, so the hardest work is already done. Maybe I'll find a neighbor that needs their garden plowed! My next task will probably be drilling post holes-I don't know if that will heat up the tranny the same as plowing.

This is strange. Try and see if it does it without moving shifting the range selector leave it the same range throughout never moving out of that range. I am leaning towards a roll pin on the range selector too. If it still does it after trying this then it is probably not the range selector. If the service man has to come and pick it up again make sure it is warmed up before he gets there and try a duplicate the situation before he takes it.
don't worry you not crazy and besides if you are they have medication for that. :D

I posted this reply previously to someone who was having a similar(I think)problem, anyway it might be worth a look.Could be that it doesn't re-engage after several hi-lo shifts.

My Dk40 had that problem. My tractor has a creeper gear so I have two levers. The levers are so long that they have too much spring in them.
I noticed that on the optional gear lever Kioti had welded a little stifftener to the lever so I did the same to the hi-lo lever and it shifts like a charm. That was two years ago and it still works great.
Have someone move the lever while you observe it from below,if you see it flexing that is where you want to ad a little backbone to the lever....Mike.
