Strange series of events!

My wife and I live in the boonies, and satellite is our only choice if we want to have anything faster than a modem connection.

A while back, we started having a problem with this connection, so we called and they sent a guy out. About an hour later, the guy called to tell us his transmission blew in his truck, and he's waiting for AAA to come. Okay.

Then we get a call from another guy. They referred our problem to him, and he was half way here, but (can you see this coming?) his truck died and he's waiting for AAA to come. Hmm.

So, this morning, they try again. The guy gets about half way again, and, yep, he's waiting for AAA!

It gets better. He said he would call us back. We hung up. About 5 minutes later we lost our phone connection completely.. and the phone company says it will be out until at least tomorrow morning. My wife then went to find her cell phone, and... well, need I continue? /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Ever have one of those days/weeks/months...

For those not near the Rochester area, the 315 reference is our area code. We're quite a ways from anything of any interest. Rochester folks laugh at us backwards 315ers, not without some reason. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
