If you want more power, just add some! A local Fordson dealer, Doe, converted many Fordsons into the DD mod. (double Doe) when demand for more hp came in the sixties

I think it was the IHC Farmal M that you could hook two together. Someone probably sold a kit that ran the front tractor controls to the rear one. Doulbed your power!

That double Doe is a fine looking setup, but I've got to wonder how it can be made to travel in anything but a straight line. How does the steering mechanism work?

It is articulated, it steers with a hydraulic cylinder between the tractors.

Yes, Model L. I had a chance to buy a well beat up one back around 1980. Been kicking myself ever since for not doing so.
