I pulled off my front wheels on my CT335 to drain out the front axle fluid for it's scheduled service, and lo and behold, all 12 lugs (6 per wheel) came off super hard as if the threads were stripped or stretched!
Upon further examination it appears that the shoulder of the lug stud protrudes out too far thru the wheel and the lug nut bottoms out on it instead the face of the wheel causing it to distort. Then upon removal, it raises **** with the lug stud causing those threads to be damaged as well
Anyone else experirnced this problem? It appears that the wheel needs a spacer behind it, or different lug nuts or studs may be in order.:confused2: I'm afraid to pull off the rears, but I had better check them.
