Matt, you can go to a TSC store and buy their cat 1 to cat 2 bushings. They are 1-1/8" od. X 7/8" id. and each one is long enought to get at least 3 bushings 1/4" long. I just used a 4-1/2" angle grinder with a cut off wheel to cut the bushings to length. These worked on my 54" deck with the gator blades.

Yes those are the ones. I special ordered them through a local lawn and garden shop, not kubota. I think I paid about $18 a blade, but no shipping since they get normal deliveries form Oregon.

As mentioned above the BX decks have 15/16" spindles. So I had to adapt them. I think 1 1/8" ID blades are for the B series decks but I'm not sure.

As far as bushings, maybe you could order them though Oregon, if you didn't want to make them. They do offer bushings but not sure if they have the right size you would need. The option of using hitch bushings is a good one, I might do a few wraps of aluminum duct tape to take up the extra 1/16" of an inch or 1/32" per side on the spindle. Probably wouldn't make a difference, but I'm just that way.

I just found the sketch I made for the bushings... 1.123" max OD x 0.880" min ID x .24"/.25" thick out of steel.
I had them made by a michine shop we do business with. They cost me a 12 pack of blue light. I seem to remember a member here offering to make someone from another thread about Gator blades a set if they provided the dimensions.

I just found the sketch I made for the bushings... 1.123" max OD x 0.880" min ID x .24"/.25" thick out of steel.
I had them made by a michine shop we do business with. They cost me a 12 pack of blue light. I seem to remember a member here offering to make someone from another thread about Gator blades a set if they provided the dimensions.
