Strobe Lights & Rack

Just purchased 6 of these Strobes N' More.
Two for the tractor, two for the plow truck and two for the RTV.
In the process I decided to build a rack for the RTV from 3/4" pipe, it fits in the square corners of the RTV bed. For now only going to build the forward bed part (Headache Rack). Undecided on building for the rear, seems too short of a span, considering making a tall "Load Extender" that you see for P/U trucks, and put mine in the front receiver of the RTV.
Dimensions are:

top piece 48" (2 11/16" over hang from outside of upright to outside of top piece each end)
two uprights 42" *******

If you decide to notch:
42" at the bottom of the cut, rough cut them to 42 0.20, you will need this much for the 1" bi-metal hole saw to bite into and have some overlap to weld to.
In the pics I put a piece of pipe nipple in the finished cut for an example. This is where the top piece fits.

I can see that their may be some rattle, considering spraying the bottoms where they go into the "Pockets" with that rubber spray for tool handles, or drill holes,anchoring nuts to the outside and inserting screws to tighten against the pipe.

Next will be the fabrication for the light mounts, of course MORE PICS! maybe a yutube.

Nice looking strobes. One thing to keep in mind with LED strobes is they are only really visible from the front, you might want to consider putting something on the side of your buggy as well. Just a thought.

Well I have the Rack made, painted and mounted, looks good in low light conditions. I will have to wait for the wife to use her computer savy to post the pics and maybe a video. In the welding process, I put the the pieces in the "Stake Holes", laid the top bar on them and welded together. The assembly came out "Snug" and I don't need to worry about rattle.

I have noticed a difference in the traffic approaching from my rear with more courtesy!

Well, got the pics of the finished rack for the strobe and work lights, and also made a receiver mount for the winch. It is totally portable from the RTV to tractor, to truck and what ever else has a 2" receiver tube.

I used the Anderson power pole connectors, "the best thing since sliced bread". I have all of them connected to the batteries with a fuse in between. The RTV was the easiest, just ran the wires through the hand brake boot.
