I think I've mentioned before that in 1988 I stopped at a Ford dealership to look at a 3/4 ton Supercab pickup. A young salesman came out promptly and went into his sales spiel. I asked him which engine it had and he said, "It's a V-8." I said, "Yes, but which one?" And he stood there with a blank look on his face; had no idea that Ford made more than one V-8 engine.

Well heck at least he knew was a blue tractor and not a blue boat......... or did he? I think the price on the mower is way high, I was qouted $2195 for a 60" sidedischarge 914A and am upgrading to a 72" for another $500. Thats including setup.

( ...well the NH has a battery in the front, thick steel and it's built by Ford. I told him that I don't think Ford has anything to do with NH anymore and he said they're still blue. Great!! He went on to tell me that NH has the best resale of any tractor. )
