I agreed Friday to move forward on financing with a quote from my local dealer for an MX5400.
I’m needing to finalize soon and would appreciate any quick advice before making the final decision. The financing came back good to go today — but in the meantime, I received two additional quotes, and now I’m struggling to move forward knowing I could get an MX6000 for about the same money.
(For simplicity, I’m listing just base cab + loader pricing.)
I’d appreciate advice on what to do here.

- Local dealer MX5400 — $49,250 (who I'm currently working with)
- Other local dealer MX5400 — $47,000
- Other local dealer MX6000 — $49,000
- Dealer 3 hours away MX6000 — $48,600 delivered
I’d appreciate advice on what to do here.
- Should I share these quotes with my local dealer and respectfully ask if they can work with me to better align to the other offers?
- I genuinely want to buy from my local dealer over the others — I value having a relationship.
- But I also know I’ll have long-term regret if I don’t get the most machine for my money.
