Wow! How unusual that is. It seems it would have always been locked rather than "developing" the problem. It sounds like your dealer is on his toes about your problem. You'd think that he would send out a notice to all owners who purchased a tractor like yours. Anyhow, it's great that you got it fixed and shared the fix with us here. I guarantee you that I'd have never come up with that solution. That's one for the books.
