I verified that Shaver does make the SG100 for Woods, and it is the same as the Shaver SC-50.
Woods sources the smaller TSG50 grinder elsewhere.

Attacked some stumps today using my Shaver SC-25 Stump Grinder. I'll tell you, it is dificult to simultaneously film and grind. Viewers will notice more HP would be helpful when taking big bites out of the stumps. Overall, the attachment works well and I enjoy using it.

I noticed earlier comments about replacing teeth. How do you know when it is time? How many hours should one expect the teeth to last? I have some old notes about a source for replacements @ $12.99 each. Is this in the ballpark?

It really shouldn't need teeth for quite a while unless you hit a lot of rocks and break the carbide tips off or severely damage them. That price you got for new teeth is pretty good, I got replacement teeth from another source that was cheaper I believe but not by much... Many
Places just replace the carbide tips and reuse the teeth themselves which is fine by me. I could dig up the source I bought them from if you'd like.
Do you need new teeth or just being proactive?

No, not looking to replace teeth yet. My stumps are mostly in black dirt. I do have to watch out for barbed wire when working in old fence rows. My tractor only has 200 hours on it and I'd guess the stump grinder only has a dozen or so.

You should be good for many many many...many more hours. There should be no need for you to change out all your teeth. I have changed a few because of very rocky conditions but it isn't normally necessary in normal soil conditions. I would grind away if I were you and not think twice about grinding dirt deep down.
I have gauged up some pretty hard granite before the teeth gave way, and only replaced them when absolutely necessary. One time I replaced an entire tooth assembly simply because I rattled a tooth loose from all the ledge I was grinding through, do check your torque once in a while and you should be fine.

I completely obliterated a very large stump today. It wasn't really the size of the stump that got me, but rather the spread of the roots! Either way though, I ground quite a bit of stump and rock today without any problems.
