Soulasphil, question about your loader, is the lift cylinder 'under' the tractor ?

Yes, the single cylinder is under the tractor. It's quite big and pushes forward a very heavy metal bar to which the bottom of the loader arms are connected. When you remove the loader, the cylinder remains underneath the tractor, so no hydraulic problems.

Wow....that's a deal Joel. Do you run your well pump off of it, or do you have municipalized water? I need something that will provide a surge for the 1hp pump. Unfortunately, we do not have Pep Boys here....but we do have a TSC.

Yes, I run my well pump, the only thing I don't run is my kitchen oven and stove top, that thing draws some serious amps.

The generator does stumble a bit when the pump kicks in, I think I'm 3/4HP, deep well, 400+ feet deep.

My neighbor also has a well, as noted in previous note, he ran about 8 days straight, shut down to change oil every 25 hours started back up and kept right on going, no worse for wear, no smoke, nothing, still running great.

I am very pleased, particularly considering I dont run it very often, seemed silly to spend a lot of money.

Hmmmm..... So power-outs are barbeque time!

Most pumps are 3/4hp, but I try to overdo everything. I'm 305' deep at 28 GPM. I need about 6500 watts surge to start my pump. My stove is duel-fuel, but my fridge is a 48" monster.

I hear ya' about spending money, but I've used the generator about 6 times last year - 4x in the winter months. I was thinking about a permanent. propane fuel automatic transfer unit, but that's big tomatoes.... I think I could get by with a 7K on a cart.

I would think 7k would be more than enough. I've run my well pump with TV, Lights, Furnace going. Not had a problem, but 7K would give you a little more buffer.

I'm very happy I've got mine.

I just bought an hour meter to install on it so I can keep better track of oil changes.
