I have a Kubota L3400 and the last few times I've used it I've noticed that as I raise the FEL it will go up smoothly a bit, then stutter as it goes up, then smoothly. It also seems like the steering is doing the same thing when I turn the wheels. Fluid level is fine. Doesn't matter the engine RPM. Cold or hot. Any suggestions?

Check for air in the system.

Inspect the suction hose and re-tighten all clamps.

I couldn't see any specific holes, but there was clearly a leak; the hose was covered with gunk. Looks like a relatively easy fix - but a bit shocking that a part like that would fail on my tractor with less than 175 hours - and it seems I'm clearly not alone on this one.
