Besides a Husqvarna Riding Mower, none at the moment but in the market for a sub-compact
Greetings,

New to the forums and in the market for a sub-compact. I have a question about swapping rear implements. I was under the impression that going from backhoe to a 3-point implement was a fairly "easy" swap. Is this really the case or is it a much more involved swap? The backhoe, while a nice add-on is a little further down the chain that others. I know you can get the 1025R with or without. I'm sure it would be a getter deal to get it with, but if I were to get it without, is it a much more involved process to mount it up?Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know about the 1025 but on my much larger 3320 the hoe goes on/off quickly, probably around 5 minutes each way. Removing or attaching the 3 pt. arms and top link (which is required on my tractor) probably adds maybe another 5 minutes. Not a big deal once you've done it a few times.

The only issue with getting the BH later would be putting on the sub-frame / mounts. Labor intensive and heavy parts. Most people take the tractor to the dealer to have everything installed, adding cost. You ussually do get a better deal getting the hoe with the tractor purchase.

I’ve never dealt with a little tractor backhoe but it was easy on mine. Under 10 minutes each way including the time to put the 3pt arms on/off.
