This is a common form of entertainment throughout the midwest. I've saw subcuts with four cylinder, modified, 1000cc motorcycle engines bolted in them. Front wheels in the air, throwing dirt clear over the sled, no ROPS. But then you step up to the big boys and you'll see multiple engine tractors spinning their tires at 100 mph, pulling the sled at 20 mph with no ROPS. I actually witnessed a guy jump his hotrod 1086 International off a ten wheeler with no ramps or tilt bed because someone bet him he couldn't. No ROPS there either.
