Sub soiler for compact

...and I just picked up one of the yellow CountyLine units, as pictured on page one - if anyone needs any dimensions off of it.

The main measurements I'm interested in are thickness and width of the shank, and the angle of the tooth. If you can grab those easily enough, I'd appreciate it.

Sounds like 1x4 for the shank, and maybe 45 for the tooth but it would be nice to know for sure. 3/8 for the rest of it..

jnjpream - boy, I'm glad you haven't started that yet - I told you wrong, earlier on that 45 angle. I'll have those measurements, hopefully tomorrow.
I used mine for the first time today - man, it went through that clay like butter! My 35hp tractor had no problems, but my R4's spun a few times.

Sorry so long on this - I hope I didn't hold up the project.
The shank is 1" x 4" - 38" long overall. The cross-bar is mounted 21" up from the bottom. The framework (other than the cross-bar) is made from 1/2 " stock. The cross-bar is 26" wide. The "blade" is mounted at 22 deg. from horizontal. The shank extends down a bit from the blade mount and as a result, when mounted on the 3pt. perfectly vertical, the shank touches the ground (my shop floor) and the blade does not. I decided to adjust the top link in until the blade made contact first, which gives it an "operating angle" of about 30 deg. Hope this helps - if you need more info, just ask.
