SubCompact Choices

Greetings All
I had posted Earliet in the NH Forums. Here is the situation. 2.5 acres of land rolling some in woods(small amount) 300 foot Gravel Driveway to maintain. Wife likes to flower garden(move mulch). I am looking at subcompacts to mow/Maintain driveway/ Other tasks as needed. Any wisdom you can share is welcomed.

I'd take a look at the BX 2230. Nice machine. Just about perfect for what you describe. Your wife could even use it....but not sure you want that! Get a loader and the big 60" deck and you'll be happenin'.

Looked at and test drove BX2230 and NHTZ25DA last weekend. Wife preferred TZ25 after driving. Better seat and better visiblity. But, the field is wide open, will visit JD dealer this week.

I have a BX 2200. It sounds like your chore list is similar to mine. I feel that my tractor is well matched to my demands, I am sure a sub-compact would be a good choice for you. Personally, I would look all the brands over; price and dealer quality would determine the color of my purchase.

I'd add the JD 4010 to your list. It's technically a "compact" but is the same size and weight as the 2210/guess 2305 now.

Also you should look at the Simplicity Legacy XL with the 27HP diesel. Lots of interchangeability with the MF and less money. Good selection of add-ons including FEL, snowblower tiller etc.
