SubCUT owners -- how much land ya\'ll got?

I was just curious to see what the typical lot size is for SubCUT owners. I've got an acre now in lovely Lebanon, Ohio (Golden Lamb anyone?), but plan on getting 10 acres to build on. I'm hoping to get something partially wooded, then mow about 2 acres and bush hog the rest. So waddya say? How much land ya'll got?

1 1/4 acres. Right now, it's 2/3 grass to mow with a 5' mower.
In a couple of years, I hope to have hardly any grass to mow... mostly natural areas with shrubs, flowers and trees. Much lower maintainence and will use less water.
My tractor (21 hp) 4wd 3 cyl. diesel Iseki TU1700f loves plowing, discing and digging in the ground. It's almost like it was made for it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Get the 10 acres /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I started out with 8 acres 4 years ago, bought 7 more from a neighbor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I just got my 4510 CUT a few weeks ago, not much mowing, but will be planting around 3-4 acres for the deer. I have a lot of road to keep clear in the winter also /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif , the rest is wooded or will be pines and apple trees.

I have 3 acres, and my Mother's house (that I maintain) has 2.5. All of it is lawn (or yard.) I also have a 300' circle gravel driveway that I plow.

I have 4.461 acres. Trying to purchase the adjoining 6 acres. Here is a picture before the house was built.

15 1/3 acres (15.329, but who's count', right? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif)

About 5 acres is buildings and paddocks for the horses, and the rest is a hay field for the horses. I have the hay cut and baled for me by someone with the equipment. Total acres for mowing is probably about 2-3. The biggest chore for the tractor is keeping 1800' of driveway cleared of snow, and cleaning up after the horses.

I'm just south of you in N. KY. I have 5 acres surrounding a 105 year old house. It used to be a nursery so there are a lot of trees but about 1.5 acres around the house and barn, cemetary and 3.5 acres pasture. In the pasture I installed a golf green and in process of adding a sand trap. Still lots of room for the garden and can still hit 100 yard shot. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have three acres, all grass, except for garden. My JD2210 works very well.

Hey, I have family over in Pisgah and down in Cincinnatti and Covington. Small world. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Currently, we live on 1+ acre of lawn and have 20- acres out of town that we plan to build on. The 20 will be mostly trees and medows, maybe a 1/2 acre of lawn. Several miles of trails and a 400' driveway.

Our PT425 is perfect for the job. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
