Subscription preferences lost in the site update?

From some unknown time (day before yesterday perhaps?) to now my default "subscribe with no email to any thread I post in" preference changed to "do not subscribe".

Was this due to the server upgrades?

We haven't moved tbn to our new servers yet so that wouldn't be it...

Yes, I was able to change it and it has stuck so far.
