Hello,

I am thinking about getting a Cab for my GC-1705. Is the "Original Tractor Cab Enclosure" a reasonable solution? Are there others to be considered?

Thanks

I've seen many comment that it likely wouldn't hold up to living in the elements but as a garage kept item works well for a reprieve from the elements throughout the winter. If you're looking long term hard top then sims and curtis industries both make one.

I use the Berco soft cab, easy to put on and easy to take off with lots of viability from inside cab. Draw backs-its the forward and rear clear plastic can wrinkle duing storage. Its very tough, had it for 4 winters now.

I prefer the soft cab because in the summer a hard cab can go where I go.

My dad is the same on his Kioti 36hp but he keeps his tractor outside. Berco is a Canadian company.

I love my OTC Can. Going on 9 years and no problems. I suggest getting the safety glass front window.

Does the back window open or is access possible to the chute crank on a 3 pt snowblower?

It does not have an opening, I use an electric chute deflecter and chute rotation for mine. I did have to cut the plastic slightly so I could get the switches installed for the bracket and wiring. The bracket I installed is just two half inch aluminum angle pieces that pierce through it.

You can do the same for the manual rotation handle if its long enough, if not the doors on both sides can be unzipped enough for you to reach the handle-or you can cut a flap.
