This is more or less the idea I had in mind. Note the weights right in front of the axle. I was think about putting them horizontal but that really depends on what weight material you can come up to.

It is odd that you write this request as I had a similar issue when I put weights on the front of my L4300. I found Kubota factory weights and bracket too long to fit on my trailer when I also carried ton pallets of fertilizer. The solution was to have a welding shop make a heavy bracket and to use New Holland short skid steer weights. I'm now retired again and took that bracket and weights off last week to replace with a standard Kubota weight and bracket. I am selling wights, bracket and heavy grill guard bracket that can be used or not for more weight.
If you are in Salem, Oregon these are too far away. If in Salem, Ohio that's different. Weight makes shipping impossible. Also, your front frame has to have holes that are approx 8" wide. I've never seen an L's that didn't. I'm sure there are pics in my threads here and I'll try to find some and post.

Here are my weights and bracket. The grill guard can be attached or not.
These are my New Holland (also Mahindra) weights and shop made bracket that were on my L4300. The bracket fits most any Kubota L I've ever seen and would have the 8" wide (7 7/8?) bolt spacing on the tractor front.
Here's normal Kubota L bracket and weights. They stick out way too far for my application.
Sell as a package with weights, bracket with grill guard. Need to be near Ohio or like road trips. PM if interested.
