Yes, regular weight lifting, barbell weights, whatever.

Since I don't plan to remove my weights on a regular basis, I found a good-sized ammo can at the local Army/Navy store. I drilled four holes to match the bumper holes, ran 4 carriage bolts(with large washers) through, filled the can with about 100+ lbs. of used lead wheel weights and concrete. I let the concrete cure, painted it Rustoleum spruce green to match the Yanmar green chassis, and bolted it on. It isn't as nice as suitcase weights, but it's better than some other ideas I've tried..and much heavier than concrete alone!

Just a word of advise.
I was planning on fabricating my own front weights to save a few bucks. After rolling my TLB over this past weekend, finding myself upside down with the machine resting on the ROPS, dangling from the seatbelt staring at where the weights would have been located, and possibly fallen off of. I'm now rethinking my homegrown ideas to include a better way to semi-permanently bolt the weights in place to keep them from ever coming loose, and causing injury or some other damage. All factory suit case weights will have some sort of chain or bar holding them firmly in place. You just can't be too careful.
