We're all sinners. Some of us just know it.

I once heard a friend say that church was just a place full of people who think they're better than everybody else. I told him our church was full because we all know we're as bad or worse than everybody else.

There was a minister hereabouts a few years back by the name of Richard Hogue. Talented preacher and teacher. I'll never forget a statement he made during one of his sermons: "This church is a hospital for sinners, not a showcase for saints".

Agree with MossRoad, and others... Society in general isnt as likely to look out for each other as it is to look out for ones self these days. Its quite a shame...

And it's gonna get worse. The parents don't teach it to the kids because they don't know it themselves. THEIR parents didn't know it. THOSE kids are the adults we'll have to deal with soon. SOME churches teach it I'm glad for that, and some other churches are the worst offenders.

I will never forget when I was s young kid visiting Germany. You had to be quiet after lunch (Siesta). You couldn't take a bath or shower after a certain hour. It felt like such an intrusion into my personal life. I was glad to get back to Canada. Can't believe I am saying that now. But as kids, we had to be quiet. Screaming was reserved for emergencies, like the time, at five. when I got my finger caught in the garage door spring!

Like I said. This is such a subjective subject. If I hear a favorite song, you can't play it loud enough. Play some of that Rap and no volume level is low enough.
