Ideas and pictures for canopies on BX tractors and KX008 mini excavators

The canopy came with the tractor, I believe it is made by A&I Products. It's all metal, nice setup, but I have dented it in the back while mowing and rolling into a tree slightly while backing up.

Save yourself several hundred $$ and make your own. Use a used golf cart top, some 1" steel tubing for an "L" bracket with an angle brace on each side and U-bolt it to your ROPS.

Mine shown to the left cost me $30.

Over the decades I've found nothing blocks the sun 100%, there is always sun on you with a turn of the steering wheel.
I wear a wide-brim hat and use sun-screen; wear a long-sleeve shirt and long pants. A canopy or enclosed cab is only good where there are no trees/overhead obstructions. Much of the time I have my ROPS down for working under tree limbs.

make your own if you know how to fab ,
mine was a fiberglass cover for a 6ft chevy bed
used 2 inch muffle pipe for the bends and old a
angle for the rails , to keep cool in 90 degree weather,
i used a 12 volt fan from a car does a super job .

the fan was out of a chevy lumina, there was 2 fans I just used one
and still have the other for a spare, used the fan frame that was predrilled
for holes, marked the spot on the roof, drilled used 3/8 carriage bolts 6 inches
long, used i/2"pvc as a spacer to hold off the top of the roof, a good mod that will keep you
cool !!! i did wire through a relay from the battery to a toggle switch
