Tractor
John Deere 2520
Anyone sell a reasonably priced sunshade that hooks on the rops for a 2520? I'm looking around for something to keep the sun off while I'm mowing. It doesn't even have to be rainproof. My new tractor should be in hopefully this week. I'm leaning to stay away from the fiberglass one's, they look to be way out of my price range at around $400. Looking for something about half that.

just cause people buy a new tractor doesn't mean they need to spend top dollar on accessories does it?? Everyones situation is different but i know alot of people probably spend more on a tractor then they needed or should have. So why keep throwing more money at it if there are other ways to get the same result? a little creativity in life goes a long way but with internet ordering now days people seem to forget about making something themselves. Heck i've seen people make them out of wood on here and paint them up and they look just fine as well. better than sitting in the sun

Well, I never got around to buying a canopy as the John Deere place was air conditioned.

Last year the heat caught me by surprise, so I grabbed my wife's colorful beach umbrella. It worked until she took it back.

Yesterday, it was hot as blazes. I grabbed duct tape, zip ties, couple pieces of L-shaped somethings and the new washer drain pan (yet to be installed). I was sheltered from the sun and happy (until I had to gie it up-but I was finished for the day. Here is a photo of this year's canopy and I will provide last years when I get home.

"patient pending", so all can copy until then!
best to all,
Jim
