Kinda funny that you should say that...seems like only some of us "old" guys even know what that hole under the radiator is for....since I'm 60 and retired....(lol). BobG in VA

I would hand crank my C when I was a kid... Never broke my arm but would'nt dare try it now!

We do forget some of those things like the hand crank,and hoping it disingages when she needs to!If a person gets a broken arm starting a tractor these days thier turning key way too hard:laughingave

Thanks for the tip but would not hand crank it unless I had crank that would not backlash..

I am about a young as you guys.....62..I'm the one that needs electric start...HAHA

Well the brushes are almost gone and there is a lot of end play so a thrush washer has also gone.
Found a place to rebuild it for less than a $100 so I think I will go for it..
