I went over the road to northern maine yesterday (600 miles round trip) to do some business with the folks at union farm equipment. If you live in the area & are looking for a good dealer, these are the people to go see! Its obvious that this company was built on customer service!

I sure hope this dealer and others notice it when customers are so pleased they give them a shout-out like this. I have nothing but good things to say about York County Kubota in York, SC.

Gotta agree on the shout out. I have yet to have an experience with my local dealer where I would ever give them a shout out, but if I ever have that kind of experience anywhere else I would. I think people are generally quick to complain if they are unhappy, but only a tiny percentage of people will rave about it when they've been treated well.

It is nice to hear about good dealers for a change. I can add to the list. I have had great, friendly, fair, competent service and sales from both Sharon Springs Garage in Troy, NY and Emerich in Charlton, NY. More folks should post their positive experiences.

Like they say.."Attitude is everything" & "Bad news travels faster than good news"

I would recommend my Kubota dealer..been wheeling and dealing w/them 16 plus years (Townline Equipment Plainfield,NH.) to anyone, for they will work w/you under any circumstances if you don't act like knot head...heck,when the stop by for visit they even offer to take there boots off before entering our home..and there always have fresh pot of coffee at dealership. ;)

I would have to add my dealer to the list of customer service oriented dealerships. (MacAllister Machinery Beech Grove Branch Indianapolis ask for Brad). They have gone way above what I would expect for a dealer. Great prices and service!

I'll have to chime in with my dealer - Bingham Equipment in Buckeye, Arizona. I have bought 2 tractors and a lot of implements from them and always gotten a great deal.

They are a straight forward operation and will make every attempt to assist me.

The service department is top notch and when I have a question and they don't know the answer, they call somebody who will. When I bought my 5740, they added a field service contract free of charge to it. With it, I only pay 95 bucks and materials and they come out and service the machine at the house.

Would I recommend them - in a flash.

Ginop's Sales of Northern Michigan. Could not have been more pleased with the entire process. First rate outfit. Gotta go see John one of these days, thank him, and smooze him into a good price on a set of wheels with Ag tires for my lil' 1860 though.

I second this one. My B7610 had a bent loader from the factory they swapped it out no questions asked (maybe 20 hours on it once I figured it out). My 5240 had different SHAPED tires. One was just a bit more donut shaped then the other (r4). This made the loader not sit flat on the ground. after the 3rd trip out to my home they figured it out and swapped out the offending tire at the house. Not a single charge. While they were there they put one 2 sets of wheel weights. John is a stand up guy and if the service depatment doesn't get something right he will make sure it gets done properly

Good dealers are sometime hard to find. I live in the sticks so if a dealer wants to survive customer service is a must. My dealer sells Kubota and John Deere. For you greenies I'll say
My dealer sells John Deere and Kabota.

Atlantic Tractor. The Best For Service.

Glad to hear of your good experience. Unfortunately customer service seems to be lacking at many businesses but I usually find that small or family owned businesses are great to deal with. I would add to the list of great dealers Kubota of Johnson City, Tn. I bought both my RTV and L2800 from them and they have been great to deal with.

I am glad to hear of all the good dealers. I wish I had one. I would like to start a list of not so good dealers. Lenoir tractor in Lenoir, NC. Not bashing them but my experience was not good.

Lets keep this a positve thread, I have had been blessed to have a good friend that owns a dealership in Litchfield, IL, Nail's Power Equipment and Kenny has taken very good care of my family over the years and I could not even count the # of machines we have bought from him. I would reccomend him to anyone.

I've heard good things about Union over the years. And this is south of Boston (as is Lawn King) which says something about both union and a major kubota dealer near Boston.

I have bought pretty much everything from Messicks, and have been very happy with how not just Neil, but everyone else, has dealt with me. And I'm several states away. Messicks didn't get big by accident.

I think there might be a site rule against negative dealer threads (for reasons I understand)

There are some dealers here, whether they be Messicks, Barlow for Kubota, or Wallace for Kioti (others as well, obv, just a sample) who just keep on coming up as good dealers, which probably means something.

Before someone goes to a local dealer, they should probably post about it - the tone of the responses will probably be meaningful without too much reading between the lines.

I'll throw my hat in for Quarles Supply Co. out of Bolivar, Mo. They treated me well throughout the buying process, answered all my questions, and made sure my equipment was in good order. They know what it takes to make people come back.

Where are these site rules that I see occasionally mentioned? Hate violating rules so I'd like to know where they are so I can see them. Course if I had a bad dealer I'd have a hard time not telling it to the world.:)
Barlows has been my dealer for 9 purchases in 6 years so quite obviously I'm satisfied and more. Ocassionally someone accuses me of working for them or being their neighbor and one person posted that I shouldn't post my opinion about Barlows since I lived in the town where they have their dealership. Never quite understood that one. Don't work for them and I'm not their neighbor, I just drive by their lot 3 to 5 times a week going to work and then again driving back home. Checked prices before buying my first tractor 6 years ago and now I just return for my trades or purchases and have never seen a posted price beat their price to me on what I have bought from them.

I figured I'd put a word in for Canns-Bilco in Alburtis, Pa. That's where I bought my B3030 & they treat me really good. Another good dealer is Reading Kubota in Reading, Pa. Actually they're located in Leesport, Pa. but their mailing address is Reading.

I'll add my dealer as being one of the great ones...

Evans Equipment in Remsen, New York.

Great folks to do business with!

I have done business with both Barlows in KY and Emerich's in NY state. Both Kevin Emerich and Brady Barlow were a pleasure to deal with. I can't say the same for the local CT dealer I have dealt with. I have also heard good things about Leahy in MA and Pine Bush Equipment in NY state but I have not personally dealt with either one.
