Perhaps messick or barlow will open a franchise in taxxachusetts? I just got some inside info from a very reliable source that the kubota dealer in the cape cod area is about to close?

I've said this here many times over the years,, I have dealt and bought from Messicks,,, an L 48 and Cub riding mower, and a gazillion filter kits... I would buy from them over and over,, At the same time,,,I feel the same way with White's farm in NY state. In recent years, now hearing of and reading many positive remarks, I would buy from Kevin Emerich,also of NY state, Brady Barlow, Kentucky and I have visited at Leahy's in Holyoke Mass,,

I think it maybe cheaper to drive from PA up to Taxxachusetts over, and over, and over, and over.

I thought I would throw my two cents in as well - Stoltzfus Farm Service in Cochranville, PA has been great to deal with. They have been very good with Service issues and have delivered new implements out to my farm for free (12-15 mile trip). -Mike

I use Statesville Tractor and Rental in Statesville NC. I did not buy my tractor from them as they were not open yet. But have used them since for parts and service. They deal with Kubota and Massey. I am new to tractors and even though I purchased my Kubota from another dealer they went over my tractor with me and answered all my questions. I would highly reccomend them to anyone. Very friendly people to deal with.

I sure hope this dealer and others notice it when customers are so pleased they give them a shout-out like this. I have nothing but good things to say about York County Kubota in York, SC.

Unfortunately, York County Kubota has ceased business. I guess another victim of our recession. Great guys, I hate they're gone!

This probaly ain"t the place to put this ,but anyways I would love to find a dealer that has connections to other dealers as far their stock goes. I need the upper part of the PTO shaft for my FL1000 tiller, which is in my parts breakdown. 3 dealers around here say it is no longer available. They say I have to buy the whole shaft, which is $400.00. I"m sure someone must have one left on their shelf.

Yeah, I've heard that same rumor. Too bad, they aren't the bad one that needs to close.

Be great if messicks opened there. It would also be completely insane on their part. Mass doesn't make life easy for businesses.

I have a feeling Messicks will have a bi-weekly truck to new england soon... if they don't already.

I called the (cape area) dealer spoke to my salesman there, as i have purchased 2 tractors and countless implements from him/them. He told me they have already purchased 4 acres of land just a few miles down the road, and will be reopening there in the near future?

Got to say, bought my L3400 from Carver Equipment in Dunn, NC. About a two hour drive from my house. They where absolutely great!! Bypassed a local dealer about 5 miles from here that wouldn't even deal with me. Carver bent over backwards to sell my my tractor! I highly recommend them!!!!

I have bought 1 BX from Pine Bush Equipment, NY in 2005 and is about to buy a new BX2360 from them. Awesome dealership, very knowledgeable, outstanding service, fair prices and just good people, they are highly recommendable!

Glad to see that most posters have been happy with their dealers. Sadly, my dealer was STUNNINGLY horse****. I won't buy so much as a hex nut from those strokes ever again.

I'd like to plug R.E & H.J. McQueens in Wolcott NY as a fantastic dealer. Butch McQueen has been fantastic to work with. I purchased a B3200 from them the end of October and had also ordered a 63" front mount blower. They had the blower and pto shaft in stock, but couldn't get the sub-frame. Butch went out of his way to attempt to get one. After getting frustrated with the supply process, he located a subframe at a dealer in Buffalo and made the 5 hour round trip to pick it up. The next day he picked up my tractor and has it in the shop for installation. Hopefully I'll have it back today. To me that is good customer service.

I will second the original post. Union Farm Equipment is a good place. I never bought a tractor from them, but even if I just go in for an oil filter or any other dinky little thing they are helpful. I even called them to see what they thought of the price of the used tractor I was considering through a private sale. I was on the phone with a sales guy for almost ten minutes. Nice people. I bought the tractor and I spend all my money for maintenance and whatnot in Union.

Another very satified new Kubota BX1860 owner from Barlow Equipment. Bardy and Steve Barlow definitly do business in a way that leaves many other dealers in the dust behind them. Knowledge, communication, pricing, stand up, and most of all they are good business people. They truely understand how to do business in this new age and at the same time insure customers are returning for more.

Truely satisfied and impressed that there is a dealer like this out there.

Union Farm is my dealer of choice here in Maine too. Bought my Deere at that other place and it seemed like buying a new car from a dealership (everyone loves that huh?)

But Union Farm is more of a family business with open arms to help you.
