Thanks SG I do have a lower hose heater and at 0 it gets coolant temps in the 50's if on for a while. I also have a tender on the battery. I have been thinking of a magnetic heater or a heated dipstick. Sorry for the mini hijack Ford.

forget the dipstick heaters.. they are just a neat way to burn oil... not enough surface area.. the mag block heaters are good though..
