Mike, (MikePA) you (rightfully so) killed my post, or should I say, put the final nail in - as others shot it up so badly it was unrecognizable. And this, a second time, for the same thing was done a while ago on my previous post on the same subject.

Re: Amsoil Syn Hydraulic Fluid vs Super UDT or NH 200 [Re: Z71]

What we don't understand we fear, and what we fear we put down.
IOW, if someone doesn't agree that Amsoil is the greatest thing since sliced bread, then they're ignorant and afraid. Sigh.
No one is putting down anything, merely stating another opinion.
Perhaps we need to add Amsoil to the list of forbidden topics since almost every thread ends up this way. )
I still would like to discuss these three fluids, exclusively, or include the John Deere fluid, if some would like. What I've learned so far is:
Amsoil fluid is not tested to meet the various manufacturer specs, but it is now recommended by Amsoil for the Super UDT and NH 200 applications.
Amsoil is synthetic.
Amsoil is multi-viscosity - 5w-30
Super UDT is ????
NH 200 is multi-viscosity, but is it synthetic, and if so, what type?
Some dealers are using Super UDT in NH machines.
Anyone fill in the rest?
Lastly, one request, please keep the comment to hydraulic fluid. There's been lots of debate on oil issues already /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Thanks for all your input!
Duane.
