Supper, Dinner, or both?

Around here if you invite or are invited to dinner you show up by noon.

Question to those who live in areas where the word "supper" is common. When you go to a restaurant in the evening, do they hand out a "supper menu", or a "dinner menu"?

Around here there are "main menus" and "lunch menus". The main ones can be ordered from at any time. Lunch runs from about 11 to 4. Then there is breakfast.

My wife like many people around here calls the mid day meal dinner. I still call the mid day meal lunch.

For me, its always been breakfast, lunch, and supper
But dinner and supper are both evening meals. Difference being supper is ate at home, and you go out for dinner.
