Got my box of 8. About tripped over the box at my door this morning. They are heavy and look very stout. A little rough on the finishing but they are just utility castors.

Can you elaborate on the rough finishing? Do they look like they'll meet the weight rating?

Okay since you asked... Here are a few close ups. These pictures are of the first I pulled out of the box. I since took a brief look at the remaining 7 casters, and they seem quite consistent as far as weld quality, ball bearing grease, finish, etc.

This plastic bushing had some flash or something sticking out. Didn't see that on any other wheel.


Welds pretty consistent but maybe a little cold (penetration?). I'm no expert.


Bearings are good size and well greased. Zerk on the swivel.


Another Zerk on the axle. That impressed me some. Won't know how effective the brakes are until I put them in action, but I really like the big stout foot peddle. Cast wheel has some inconsequential sharp break off points.


All in all, I would say a pretty dang good deal. I will try to remember to post back after I put in use but that will likely be a month or more and I will probably forget. I paid a lot more for smaller high rated load casters from a local contractor hardware supply house. I wish I had these when I added smaller casters to my 4ft by 8ft outfield/welding table. :smiley_aafz:

Look good to me, I have a tote full of those casters you have on your table (I have them on my welding table too) from my dad's work, they are nice but I like the urathane/cast wheel better for really heavy equipment.

Guess I better get my order in........
