( Did my first full service on my CK20 @ 54 hrs. When I pulled the trans drain plug, I found this stuck to the magnet.
Think I should be concerned? Called Kioti NC service dept., explained what I had found, guess what they said.........
"It was probably dropped in there when it was being assembled" /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. Told him about the wear mark on it, like a gear or bearing, his responce; "It was probably on the floor and ran over with a fork lift, the use them when they assemble tractors" /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I think my right leg is alot longer now! The finale answer when asked if I should worry about running it..........." Run it till it breaks, then we'll fix it under warrenty" Ummmmm, wonder if Kioti has a loaner program? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif )

or you could contact kioti,, send them your pic and tell them what your dealer said.. (squeaky wheel gets the grease) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

clk here

ps,,, most of the snap ring is still in there and will probly hang on,,,, atleast until the day after your warranty run's out..

When I read the beginning of this thread. My understanding was that Dirthauler did talk to Kioti in North Carolina. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Maybe the floor sweeper answered the call and new what he was talking about. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Sending a picture and asking for a better response maybe what needs to happen here. As you suggested. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Had a horrible thought.......wonder how many people have taken their Kiotis' in to the dealer for that "first" time service and the dealer pulled the drain plug and found a little "surprise", ie. snap ring, bolt, finger (lol) etc. and told the mechanic "shhhhhhhhhh" maybe it will hold together 'till it's out of warranty? We all know that warranty work don't pay like a dealer's regular hourly rate. Not making any accusations here, but I don't believe that I'm the first and only one to have this happen.

I do all my own service too and didn't find anything but a very little bit of metal shavings on the 50 hours service.
I decided to change it all out again at 300 hours, and found virtually NO shavings. I was very pleased to see there isn't a lot of wear going on in there.
Yes, I changed it out way ahead of time, but since I use the power beyond to hook up my backhoe, I wanted to assure that the fluid is not too contaminated.
