I'm not impressed, diesel trucks are coming STOCK with 800lb.ft.

I still feel ANY truck with a tranny recall and replacement valve body in short time is a ticking time bomb. Caveat Emptor...

I am talking at the rear wheels. They are pushing 1100 FT TQ or more.

As for the Service Bulletin, not a Recall, it was on the first run of the gas version of the Torque Shift tranny introduced in 05. I agree its not the best situation but they have overall found to be a tough good tranny that is the class leader in the gas trucks.

That looks like a nice truck. It has everything I listed it need for me to buy it. 4.10 LS gears, 11,000# GVWR, Factory Brake Controller, and 4x4.

If you are serious I would get a deposit on it or adjust your plans to go get it asap. The good ones don't last long. I have had things sold out from under me in a matter of hours.

I would get it as well. Good deal at that price with miles. I paid a little more than that for mine last year but I only have 61k on the clock. And on the highway you can get 300 miles to the tank. I live in Florida, and went to South Carolina to get mine, Fist one I found with low miles. Drove up there, bought it, went to U-haul, rented a car trailer, and towed the car I drove up there back to save on drivers and fuel. Got about 10.5mpg on the way back with the car in tow. As Chris said, get it before someone else does!

Check them out - in my endless search for my duallie they came up with complaints. There is another dealer a bit south with seemingly a stellar reputation. It might be in one of my posts. They charge almost a full fair price but have a great record.

Newbury - Let me know where you saw the complaints for Woodyard as I have not been able to find any thus far. They seem to focus on 2nd hand 3/4 and 1 ton pickups. The other dealer you speak, Hand Picked....., has a solid reputation but their pricing actually seems high.....Thank you, Gary

It would be exceedingly rare to find a Ford v10 at Handpicked anyway, as they deal 99.9% diesel...
