Swapped Out FEL Valve, Got Grapple Control and FREE Rear Remotes

I did end up getting my rear remote hydraulics installed once mahindra sent me the right parts. Simple install after all. On a side note, did you know Moes in West Chester is closing up on the first of Feb?

I knew I wanted to install rear remotes, and with "top'n'tilt", having a joystick valve (the former FEL controller) would be very intuitive, so I used the new valve for the FEL.

Gee, I completely missed the part about Moe's. That was 2.5 miles from my house ... now the closest dealer is nearly an hour. Apparently they were bought out by a big group that owns a bunch of Ace hardware stores, and they don't want to deal with the tractors. Had I known that, I'd maybe be a Mahindra dealer now, it is time for another career change!

I just purchased one of those valves and was wondering if you could tell me what size and type fitting were required. My Kioti loader is using 3/8 lines. Thanks

I cheated. I took the tractor and the new valve to the hydraulic shop. The helpful folks there hooked me up with all the fittings I needed to adapt to the new valve, and made up the hoses where I needed them. I lacked the knowledge and experience to do it myself, and it's 35 miles each way if I missed something. They even had the Power Beyond adapter in stock. I also bought the sleeve material for the new hoses.

I reused the original quick connects, and added four more sets for the new third function lines. The supply, PB and return ports are SAE 12, the valve ports are SAE 10, IIRC.

Thanks for your response. I haven't pulled mine apart, but I am guessing the SAE 10 and 12 ports for the valve have O rings? I was hoping to get adapters to adapt the 3/8 fitting I have now. Course I still have to buy the other 2 that are extra. I now have the 2 spool Prince LVR and want to adapt the ones I now have which are SAE 8 and 10.
