The 93 to 97 are good years. I always liked that body style. If it were me, I'd be shooting for the F350 SRW pickup. The F250's are nearly identical except for the TTB front axle. Some people have had good service with the TTB, but snow plowers have had them break. I've seen the knuckle sheer right off of the housing!
Up here, those trucks are hard to find. A neighbor has a nice 96 SRW XLT with the 7.3L PSD. Nice truck, and I'm guessing that he is holding on to it for life.
My father had a 95 F350 PSD dump, and he is finishing up a 94 F350 dump with a 460. The 460 is OK, but that 7.3L PSD was sweet. I wish I bought that from him.
