I'm starting a Bobtach modification to my FEL for the B2320. Does anyone know if the LA304 frame is identical to the LA 364 found on the 2620 & 2920? I've found that the two pistons for the bucket have sufficient force. However, I would like a little more force out of the boom pistons. I also anticipate adding 75lbs. +/- for steel plate. I'm assuming the higher capacity is due to larger pistons? If so, I may be interested in swapping.

Interesting... Is this true? Are the frames the same minus labels and cylinders? I wonder what the dealer cost difference is between these two loaders... I got the 304 as I didnt know I could get the larger loader on the B2320.

I bought a B2320 a year ago and for whatever reason the dealer was having trouble getting a 304 so he ate the cost and upgraded it to the 364.

Why is it when I up grade one part of something I always break something else. Tractors,cars,trucks,motorcycles. I am starting to believe someone somewhere knows more then I do.

Kubota specs show the 2320 width different than the 2620 and 2920 but I do believe the loader frames are the same. Take a look below. However, piston prices are nearly $700/piece!

Posts 9 & 10 say they are different and the QA for the B3200 fits the LA364 but not the LA304

Here's a B2320 with images showing a LA504 QA mounted to a B2620 & B2320.

Here they calim they're the same

My guess is the LA364 FEL pistons are slightly larger than the LA304's. It would translate into possibly a slightly longer extension (in this case, higher reach) and a slower lifting time when using the same pump.

After doing more legwork here is what I found:

Per the Kubota parts diagrams / parts list:
Boom Part#
LA304 -> FRONT ATTACHMENTS -> A01000 BOOM
LA364 -> FRONT ATTACHMENTS -> A01000 BOOM

BOOM FRAMES ARE THE SAME.;)

Cylinder Part#
LA304 7J052-63012
LA364 7J053-63010

Other obvious differences are the Bucket sizes and the Labels... So its all in the cylinders. Should have got the LA364!

Can someone measure the road diameter on the FEL piston as well as the fully extended length on their LA364? I'd like to compare it to the 1" & 35-1/2" numbers that of the LA304.
