Switching from Category I to Category II on the PTO Hitch?

the bushing should of came with the tractor in a bag my 7040 did TSC sells them i think 2 bucks each like others have said keep the cat 2 on the tractor use the bushings to go down to cat 1

If you don't want to mess with bushings on the lift arms you may be able to get a Cat 2 pin that has a 7/8'' thread on it.

The tractor is "in the pasture" now, so it's easy for me to see the differences. Especially since the dealer also delivered an Armsrong AG Disc Harrow that's setup as Cat I/II compatable. You can see the connection points for the two different sizes right on the discs 3 point setup.
