I wonder if he is mistaking the charge filter(s) for case drain filter.
Does this have piggyback HST or something like Rexroth A22 where they have a common charge pump and housing with two seperate HST pumps.

Yea that would make sence, almost looks like we lost him. I have done a couple of skid steer units and the majority have been Vickers for the smaller stuff. I think there were charge pumps for each unit with one being a through drive. But don't quote me on that it has been awhile. I am messing with a M46 right now with a through drive charge pump, so once I have slept it is gone!!! CJ

Agree on I think the OP is gone. Makes me wonder if he didn't realize he had hooked up a couple of hoses wrong or something.
I was always told "with age come wisdom" while I got the age... still waiting for the wisdom.

OK like i said previously the dealer came out and verified everything was hooked up correctly....So more background on this machine...I bought this originally with a bad leaking pump...I dont believe im mistaking filters but maybe.... I only have 1 case drain filter that both drive motors tie into and 1 from auxillary hydraulics...Should each drive motor have its own?Why if the machine is in the air and tracks are not engaging would have any effect on the filters? Dont they only work when fluid is supplying the tracks?Sorry for all the questions but i appreciate everyones help

i believe so...there is a charge pump and then the 2 halves 1 for each side .....I do not see charge filters,and if i did this machine does not have them...Has 1 hyd oil filter,2 case drain filters....I have had some help that a friend of mine has had 20 years exp on bobcats but not the newer ones like what i have....04

I am thinking you might have to have someone knowledgeable, go inside the pump to see if all the parts are there, and installed correctly.
Charge pumps are always pumping about 10 % or total flow to keep the system pressurized and provide make up fluid and also help cool the pump by flushing out the hot fluid to a filter or cooler or both, the then to tank.
